1. Who we are and what we do

FreeJobTracker.ai ("we", "us", "our") is a free AI-powered job application tracking service operated from India. Our service connects to your email inbox via read-only OAuth authentication and uses artificial intelligence to automatically detect and classify job-related emails into five categories: Applied, Screening, Interview, Rejected, and Offer.

We store only the extracted metadata from your emails — company name, job title, application status, and date — to populate your job tracking dashboard. We never store email content. The service is free to use and requires no manual data entry.

2. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using FreeJobTracker.ai — including visiting our website, connecting your inbox, or using any feature of the service — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference.

If you are using the service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these terms.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use FreeJobTracker.ai. By using the service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If we learn that a user is under 18, we will immediately deactivate their account and delete all associated data.

You must also have a valid Google account or other supported email account to use the service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

4. Your account

When you connect your Gmail account to FreeJobTracker.ai, you are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your Google account credentials
• All activity that occurs under your connected account
• Notifying us immediately if you suspect any unauthorised access
• Ensuring the information associated with your account is accurate

You can disconnect your inbox and delete your account at any time from your account settings or by revoking access via your Google account's security dashboard at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

5. The service — what we do and don't do

What we do

• Connect to your inbox via read-only OAuth — we can only read, never send, delete, or modify emails
• Scan incoming emails to detect job-related communications using AI
• Classify emails into Applied, Screening, Interview, Rejected, or Offer categories
• Store extracted metadata (company, role, status, date) to build your dashboard
• Display your job application pipeline in a clean, organised interface

What we don't do

• Store, retain, or log the content of your emails
• Send, delete, or modify emails in your inbox
• Sell, share, or trade your personal data with third parties
• Use your data for advertising or AI model training
• Guarantee 100% accuracy of AI email classification
• Provide employment advice, job matching, or recruiter services

6. Gmail and inbox access

Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:

• We request only read-only Gmail access — the minimum scope necessary to provide the service
• We use Gmail data solely to detect and classify job-related emails
• We do not transfer Gmail data to third parties except as necessary to provide the service
• We do not use Gmail data for serving advertisements
• We do not allow humans to read your email content unless required by law or you explicitly request support that requires it

You can revoke our access to your Gmail at any time by visiting myaccount.google.com/permissions and removing FreeJobTracker.ai from your connected apps. Upon revocation, all your data will be deleted within 24 hours.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use FreeJobTracker.ai to:

• Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service or its infrastructure
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of our service
• Use automated scripts or bots to access the service in any way that places excessive load on our servers
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
• Transmit any viruses, malware, or other harmful code
• Use the service for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent
• Attempt to scrape, harvest, or collect data from other users of the service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these acceptable use conditions without notice.

8. Intellectual property

All content, design, code, logos, and branding on FreeJobTracker.ai — including but not limited to the website design, AI classification system, dashboard interface, and written content — are the intellectual property of FreeJobTracker.ai and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the service for your personal, non-commercial job tracking purposes. This licence does not include the right to copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the service.

Your data — including your email metadata and job application information stored in your dashboard — remains yours. We claim no ownership over your personal data.

9. Third-party services

FreeJobTracker.ai integrates with and relies on third-party services to operate, including:

• Google OAuth and Gmail API — for inbox authentication and email access
• AI providers (Anthropic / OpenAI) — for email classification processing
• Cloudflare / Netlify — for website hosting and delivery
• Supabase — for database storage of your metadata

These third parties have their own terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of these third-party services. Your use of FreeJobTracker.ai is also subject to their respective terms.

Our service may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party websites.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

FreeJobTracker.ai is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure
• The AI classification of your emails will be 100% accurate or complete
• All job-related emails will be detected and categorised correctly
• The service will meet your specific requirements or expectations
• Any errors or defects in the service will be corrected

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, FreeJobTracker.ai and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of goodwill — arising out of or in connection with your use of the service.

In no event shall our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or related to the service exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. Since the service is free, this means our total liability is zero to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless FreeJobTracker.ai and its operators from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses — including reasonable legal fees — arising out of or in any way connected with:

• Your access to or use of the service
• Your violation of these Terms of Service
• Your violation of any third-party right, including any intellectual property or privacy right
• Any content you submit, post, or transmit through the service

13. Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time by disconnecting your inbox from the service settings or by contacting us at hello@freejobtracker.ai. Upon deletion, all your data will be permanently removed within 24 hours.

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your access to the service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms of Service, applicable law, or if we decide to discontinue the service entirely.

Upon termination, all rights granted to you under these terms will immediately cease. Sections 8, 10, 11, 12, and 15 will survive termination.

14. Changes to the service or terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you — for example by displaying a notice on the website or sending an email to your registered address.

Your continued use of the service after any changes to these terms constitutes your acceptance of the new terms. If you do not agree to the updated terms, you must stop using the service.

We also reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time without liability to you.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms or your use of the service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.

If you are accessing the service from outside India, you are responsible for compliance with your local laws to the extent they are applicable.
